Is the free tier really free forever?+
Yes. Score one building, view the result, share it, export to CSV — no card, no expiration. Past one building we ask you to pick a paid plan.
Do I have to commit to an annual contract?+
No. All plans are month-to-month. Annual billing saves you 20% if you prefer.
What happens if I exceed my building cap?+
We notify you in-dashboard and offer either a one-time top-up or an upgrade. We never silently bill overages.
Do you offer human-assisted (concierge) filing?+
Yes — concierge filing is a $79/building add-on available on Pro and Portfolio. Most customers self-serve and skip it.
Will Meter Ready submit to ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager?+
Yes. We sync via EPA's official Web Services API so your Portfolio Manager account stays the system of record.
Do you support water benchmarking?+
Yes on Pro and above. Water is required by several jurisdictions and useful for multifamily.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Self-serve cancellation in the billing portal. We prorate the current period.
Do I need my own Stripe / payment account?+
No. We bill via Stripe — you just enter a card. Payments are processed securely.
